Electronic Arts has announced three new editions for its Most popular Game i.e. NFS (Need for Speed). These editions will name as NFS Shift, NFS NITRO and NFS World Online and are developed by Criterion Games (developers of Burnout). As per Electronic Arts chief operating officer John Pleasants “We’ve taken the Burnout team and combined it with our Need for Speed franchise“. Also at “William Blair Growth Stock Conference” Pleasants said “So we now have that in our favor because that Burnout team is probably one of the more online-centric and notably high-quality game developers that we have out at Criterion.

NFS Shift will reach our end of summer i.e. September 17 this year. NFS Shift will have in-car view which we have seen in Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed. The in-car view in NFS Shift will be highly detailed and, driver will get a better view of the mirror by moving his head. You can see the Trailer of the game here:

NFS Shift Mainly Focuses on Drifting due to which games can expect lot of drifting races and like previous versions gamer can enhance the car features using Visual and Performance tuning. According to EA this game has near about 80 cars, ranging from classic cars to modern sport cars which include the Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R, the Mazda RX-7 and the McLaren F1. The featured car for the cover of the game is the 2009 BMW M3 GT2 (which can be seen in the trailer).
